Beethoven 2020 journey – chapter 3

A New Inspiration

23 – 25 April 2020, York Hall

A message to ticket holders – 27 March 2020

I hope you are all keeping well and managing to stay positive during these crazy times.

As a result of the current lock down we have, with regret, taken the decision to cancel the next two events of our Beethoven Journey: A New Inspiration in April and Patronage in May. We will be issuing refunds to anyone who has bought tickets to these two events (including partial refunds to bundle ticket holders) from Monday 13 April. While we are sad not to be able to share the next steps of Beethoven’s extraordinary journey with you, it is clear that we all have to come together (metaphorically speaking!) to tackle this crisis, with the hope of being able to return to some kind of normal soon.

Also, as we are not yet sure how long this lockdown will last, we are temporarily suspending ticket sales for all the remaining events of this year’s Beethoven Journey. This is not a decision we have taken lightly, and we have our fingers crossed that we will be able to put tickets back on sale soon, but only when it is safe and responsible to do so.

We will continue to monitor the situation closely and keep you updated on our plans. In the meantime here is a little gift from us to you – a playlist of Beethoven’s groundbreaking 3rd Symphony, Eroica, to help you tap into your inner hero during these troubling times!

Thank you to everyone who has chosen to support us this year – with any luck we will be able to welcome you to a TLO event in the near future.

Stay safe and look after each other.
